Some outdoor pursuits exist separate from weather and environmental conditions. Hiking comes to mind. Mountain biking, too. Oh, you might not like walking or riding in the rain or wind, but you can. Skiing, however, doesn’t exist without a certain meteorological and topographical convergence. Here are a few thoughts on that serendipity.
