The Adventure Life, Wagner Skis, and Visit Telluride are psyched to announce that Ryan Hollington has won the season-long “Share Your Ski Stoke” contest. Judges from Skiing Magazine, Ski Press, Wagner, T-Ride, and this site picked Hollington’s video as the purist expression of stoke from the scores of entries received. Although not the most polished entry, the Albuquerque native’s helmet cam video from Silverton, Colorado, best captured the pure joy of skiing and the home-made video the spirit of the contest. Hollington shot the footage, composed the music, recorded the soundtrack in his apartment, and did the voiceover.
So, what’s he win? The dude is…stoked. He gets a pair of Wagner custom skis, trip for two to Telluride for a weekend, and, weather permitting, a day of helicopter skiing.
Thanks to everyone who entered–and congratulations to Ryan.

nice. Nailed it. Congratulations Ryan. It’s really refreshing to see stuff like this rather than the all too familiar 50 degree sloughing spines w/ hardcore soundtrack. I hate to say it, but that stuff is starting to get *yawn*…. kinda boring. Nice glimpse of the everyday ‘Workingman’s Skier.’
Nice!! I loved it. It is cool and well narrated and real. It reminds of the famous speech for the class of 99′. It’s how the people rock; powder to the people!!
