At some point pretty soon, gorgeous time lapse movies of the night sky are going to get old–but not yet. This sequence from the top of Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii is well worth the 60 seconds to watch. It’s a reminder and an inspiration to get out and stay out, to sleep under the Milky Way or just walk out in the backyard and reconnect with what made us–the stars and their dust. It was put together by Charles Leung.

Stunning and breathtaking….Thank You!
beautiful video. i have but one question. What song was that you used? It was very emotive, uplifting and inspirational. And i’d definitely like to hear the full version.
I thank thee

Beautiful track.. I’ve been looking for a full version of it myself, without much luck so far..
our world is beautiful…even outside the atmosphere. I really does make me want to get out and stay out.
