Way up near the top of list of best uses for the internet is finding art. With clients like Target and Burton and Gnu and the Vermont Cheesemakers Festival, Amy Ruppel appears to have no shortage of people finding her or her art, but every little bit helps, right? And in the case of this happy little print, 15 percent of that every little bit goes to American Forests.
The piece is called “This Land is Your Land” and it sells for $45 through a terrific organization called The Working Proof, which commissions artists to create pieces that are sold for the greater good. The art is affordable, the artists pick the charity where that 15 percent goes, and you, if you step up, make your place look a little nicer.
While you’re at it, you should check out more of Amy’s art and her blog, Never Put a Red Scarf on a Ghost.
