Committing to producing a photo every day is a dodgy business, especially if you’re a ski area. Mother Nature is a fickle one, after all. And do you really want to trust a marketing intern with a iPhone to create your public face? But they do–commit, that is, and Ullr love them for it. Alta, Snowbird, and Jackson Hole are among the most proactive, but there are others out there, too. So, who killed it this weekend, when a giant salt shaker hung over the west and delivered a bounty of booty?

These are obviously quite ‘pro’ but it is the very ‘amateurism’ of photo of the day at the various areas that makes them so appealing. we can all relate! we want to be there! no set-ups, just grab-shots! everybody rushin’ to grab pow… Love it!
Spirit wins the day on this one, not necessarily technical accomplishment.
Can anyone recommend other areas that do this? Would be fun to make it a regular post.
