D’ohpe! You almost feel sorry for them, the World’s Dumbest Skiers/Boarders. Because, after all, they just wanted lift tickets. But really: Are you serious? How stupid can you be? Sheriff’s deputies in Mono County, California, home to Mammoth Mountain, put an ad on Craig’s List offering to swap Mammoth ticket vouchers for weed, coke, pretty much anything illegal and narcotic. And they got some takers.
The World’s Dumbest Skiers/Boarders drove from Orange County, San Luis Obispo, and Los Angeles, bringing with them all manner of pharmaceuticals. They came expecting to swap blow for blower, and now they’re in jail, five men and a woman, ranging in age from 21 to 34. The sting netted a pound of pot, a quarter-ounce of cocaine, Ecstasy, and prescription meds.
The sting went down last Friday in daylight on old Mammoth Road.
The Mono Narcotic Enforcement Team issued a release that was almost gleeful at its good fortune. “The advertisement clearly stated the vouchers were to be exchanged for narcotics,” it smirked, and it didn’t but most certainly should have said, “and can you believe how freakin’ lucky we are it actually worked?”

Yes there are some dump people out there but I believe that these damn pigs need to quit entrapping people. If we tried to put an ad on craigslist and sell something or trade for weed, coke, meth, whatever we would be in the wrong and arrested. When these cops put ads like that out there its all good. Just like with prostitution its wrong to entrap people. But that is the messed up world we live in..
